I love the generic toys as like the next person and Playmobil offers a range of fantastic themes. Lincoln is my four-year youngster, is a huge fan of every Country set including the tractor, farms mobile homes, tractors, and more. However, every time it’s fun to take a licensed theme toy on a ride.
The past couple of weeks, Lincoln and I have taken a dive in the realm of Scooby-Doo Playmobil, and he is having an absolute blast.
I believe the most crazy thing that’s happened is the sudden affection for Scooby. Prior to receiving these Playmobil sets for examination, Lincoln probably couldn’t have selected Scooby-Doo out of the dog’s lineup. He has not had any contact with the brand in any way. But the last few days, he can’t get enough.
The Scooby-Doo playsets by Playmobil are simply amazing with amazing detail throughout and sets that are themed to earlier media released by the same company behind the films and television shows.
It’s the sheer quantity of Scooby-Doo Playmobil sets that blows my mind. And we only got to play with a handful of them, with the most notable being that of the Mystery Machine.
Although I was bummed in the fact that Mystery Machine didn’t include all the characters from the Scooby group – only Fred, Velma, and Daphne It’s easy to complete the group by purchasing some of the less popular sets that contain Scooby as well as Shaggy. We were fortunate enough to look at Scooby and Shaggy in the Mystery Machine and two smaller sets that each contained Scooby and Shaggy which meant we could have the complete group.
When Lochlan, my 9-year youngster, saw the activities we were playing when he was a little boy, he rushed over to play right away. Lochlan has a long history with films, books and television shows and was immediately reliving the experiences that he’d had, such as the famous line “I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn’t for you meddling kids!”
Being able to watch my children interact with the toys and playing with the various play elements was an absolute delight and, as I stepped back to watch the action, I instantly remember what a wonderful toy Playmobil really is.
These sets contain a variety of items that could keep children entertained for long hours. With a few villains to hunt, battery-powered machines in the Mystery Machine van, and numerous things to eat, clothes items, and much more You quickly discover that the value of these sets is often greater than the amount demanded.
I often glance at Playmobil boxes and I think.
“Wow, that seems expensive for how many pieces are included.” However, it’s worth reminding yourself that – and I frequently have to remind myself that Playmobil prices per piece will not match the price of building blocks per piece figures. While my children enjoy toys from other brands I can tell you with absolute certainty that Playmobil products are taken out of the toy box more frequently than any other.
I believe Playmobil has dominated the market by creating enjoyable and playthings. My kids weren’t interested in dolls, nor do they have any real love for action figures, either. However, there’s something about Playmobil is a great way to spark their interest and makes them more engaged unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The sets of the Scooby-Doo series are a huge hit. They’ll likely be great for your children as well regardless of their knowledge of the original material.
