Although there’s amazing camaraderie, there’s also this competitive spirit that drives us as we’re right across the street from each other,” Boyd said when asked for advice that they’d give to future rivals.
Elle gave some suggestions of his own in a statement that reads, “If you’re gonna be competing and win, you must be present and competing. There are many outside projects however this particular event demands your full attention and a full body, mind and soul. If you don’t provide the full attention it deserves, you’ll feel that you’ve been let down.”
The couple also talked about their plans to be returning to the scene for another season as rivals, and both said that they’d return in a flash However, Elle said that this time “I would have a scheduled date with my therapist the entire time.”
Boyd and Elle could be set to be back on the block this season to serve as judges because the past couple of seasons have seen the former champions returning to crown the winner. The fifth season hasn’t been confirmed or confirmed by HGTV however, in the event that the pattern of the past few seasons is to continue viewers can expect announcement closer to the end of October, which is when they typically create new seasons of the show.
