Before businesses and products can be included on Google the site, they must go through strict safety checks.
“Thanks to Shopping Graph, our data collection of the world’s goods and retailers, we are able quickly assess whether a company is genuine, and the products that you see are authentic and the content they offer is in line with our guidelines,” stated Google in an article on their blog.
“This automated review process has enabled us to better review and more accurately the vast array of products” Google stated. Google.
It stated that it had prevented more than 100 million product offerings from being displayed in January, and disapproved of over 300,000 accounts who were not adhering to its rules.

Google will provide a score for the product and seller.
In addition to Google’s automated system, Google has reviewers on staff and listings.
