Suzuki confirmed that they would hold an owner’s gathering for motorcycle owners, “V-Strom Meeting 2022” on November 13th , at Suzuki’s headquarters. Suzuki headquarters.
The V-Strom is an adventure vehicle that is becoming popular because of its simple 2-cylinder engine and its excellent performance on the road. There are currently five models, including “1050”, “1050XT”, “650 ABS”, “650XT ABS” and “250 ABS” are available in Japan.
The V-Strom Meeting started in 2014 as a fan-driven event in order to strengthen connections between owners. The 2019 meeting saw 907 V-Stroms were present from all over the United States to fill the Suzuki headquarters parking lot. But due to the coronavirus epidemic the 2020 meeting was cancelled and 2021 was forced to be hosted on the internet.
Suzuki has launched a project called “Travel Flag” to coincide with the gathering. “Traveling flag” is a system of relay in which V-Strom riders trust flags to travel throughout Japan. The flag can be entrusted to an V-Strom user you meet on chance during your journey or hand it over to someone else V-Strom user you already know. It’s been a little over a year since Takashi Kasori who was an adventurer sporting an American flag has left Suzuki headquarters. Flag was a traveler who travelled across Japan in V-Strom Rider, traveled all over Japan. V-Strom Rider, will return to the V-Strom Meeting 2022.
The event is scheduled to take place on the 13th of November from 10:00 until 14:00 (scheduled) The admission is cost-free.
