The story of the floppy green curmudgeon was adapted for film, TV and stage, and, most recently, YouTube. Dr. Seuss Enterprises has released a new web series that offers the Grinch his own video.
The web-based series is accessible via the official Dr. Seuss YouTube channel that debuted in the year 2019. In the very first episode, the loner is going through his daily routine. He awakes and says his affirmations and then complains about the man that is living in The North Pole who is “happy every day.”
In episode two in the second episode, in episode two, the Grinch is trying to make it appear that there’s a reason to his dislike of Christmas. “The Whos with their lights…kind of weird I’ll bet,” he says. “They’ve had a lighting obsession. It’s uncomfortable for me, to be sincere.”
This more mature version of The Grinch has been the most important event in the Dr. Seuss channel in the past few months. The digital hub already hosted cookery videos that are accessible for those who want to know the recipe for ham and green eggs. The majority of the videos, which highlight the singing-songy style that is the hallmark of Dr. Seuss rhymes, are hoping to take advantage of its popularity of children’s videos and the popularity of children’s content on YouTube.
