The best players in the world will be playing during the 2023 World Snooker Championship held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield between the 15th of April on Saturday through Monday, May 1.
The reigning and defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan was going for an all-time record eight world crown in Sheffield having beaten Judd Trump 18-13 in last year’s final. The pair were the same level as Stephen Hendry, who claimed seven titles during the 1990s.
Following the conclusion of qualifying rounds a couple of days ago, only 32 players will be heading to the Crucible comprising 16 seeded players who will compete against the 16 qualifiers during round one.
