World Of Warcraft Bans Player For Posting Bible Verse

World of Warcaft, a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game is, according to certain estimates, the second most well-known MMO-RPG that is currently welcoming over a million players into its world of fantasy.

Of course the real world can peak at. In World of Warcraft are public chat rooms where people discuss about the mundane things like the most recent movie or sports news and current events. Also, when members gather in a chat room like this, politics as well as religions are also discussed.

Looking through these chat channels isn’t for those who aren’t confident. While hiding behind the anonymity that is the Internet, the actual person will be exposed probably because they are aware that they cannot be punched.

Politics is among the most talked about subjects.

In general, there is less animosity between two sides of Middle East. Middle East. It is not uncommon to hear about religion. Since the players are mostly found to Western Civilization, religion is concerned with Christianity and, more often than not, the way “Jebus” is fake, disregarded, or an evil monster.

World of Warcraft is okay in all of that. They do have a set of Terms of Service. The ToS stipulates that players is not allowed to be involved to engage in “disruptive” behavior. However, it does not clarify the definition of “disruptive behavior” is.

We’re aware of what is happening right now. Between sexual vulgar, anti-Israel rants and telling people they’re a scourge for being of a different political opinion and posting an actual Bible verse is not permitted!

There was a user who uploaded each time every so often to public chat rooms. The Bible verses were simple. Do your best to love your neighbor. Don’t be a victim of an insult. Don’t treat others as you would want them to do to you. Most people be in agreement with.

Evidently, this has crossed the line. Demands that Biden supporters to be put in prison and Trump supporters to be imprisoned are all acceptable. But the Bible? God Forbid!! !

Oh, I did mention God. Should I be barred off the Internet?

The person in question was barred out of World of Warcraft. The posting rights were suspended for a period of one week. In response to an Better Business Bureau complainant, World of Warcraft (technically, Blizzard Entertainment, which owns World of Warcraft) said the publication of Bible passages could cause disruption. However, they were unable refer to any place within the terms of Service where it says that.

A company is able to restrict what they can say on their websites.

Final Fantasy XIV has a policy that states clearly that the topic of religion and politics cannot be discussed in public. World of Warcraft does not have a similar restriction. It clearly allows all kinds of dialogue. Except God. It’s not like you can support God. If you don’t like God You can write whatever you like and, apparently.
