The swashbuckling production brings viewers close to the thrilling adventures of pirate mythology and legends in its fifth season, which sets sail on February 10. The ever-inspiring and thrilling story features mermaids, pirates high seas adventures and romance. It’s accompanied by an epic captain’s meal that fuels the epic journey.
In the series’ Buccaneer Bay. A vibrant and fearless cast of characters combine acrobatics animal pyrotechnics, music, pyrotechnics and all things pirate to make a treasure chest of fond memories. The unique and thrilling Pirates Voyage showcases the thrill of battles with swords as well as cannons exploding and pirates climbing high above two large pirate vessels in the “fight” to win Davy Jones his prized sunken treasure.
Gorgeous mermaids effortlessly perform above the waters of Buccaneer Bay. A couple of castaways including one named “Salty” sea lion, take on Captain Blackbeard with clever antics and pirate and wit.
A spirited group of characters will combine the best of both worlds, and can keep audiences grooving and squealing around every corner during an epic fight for treasures that are lost on the land as well as on decks and in the waters of the show’s 15-foot-deep inside lagoon.

The moment guests step into the secret lagoon to enjoy an unforgettable Dinner and Show spectacular, guests are treated to a full four-course meal directly from the galley of Captain Blackbeard that creates Pirates Voyage the most unique restaurant within the Smokies.
The meal starts with a creamy soup of voyager vegetables and buccaneer’s bread. The meal suitable for a pirate or mermaid, continues with the secret recipe of the crew’s cracklin pan-fried chicken, swashbuckling sugar-cured ham and delicious Corn on the Cob and a herb-basted potato. Walk the plank dessert and endless Coca-Cola(r) items or tea to round out the dinner. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are available upon request.
