Till now only rain has been assessed in the weather forecast. But the weather forecasters have now predicted rain of plastic in it as well.
In a five-day international conference on plastic pollution held in Paris, it was informed on Monday that there is a possibility of plastic rain in Paris, France. Forecasters have even told that up to 50 kg of plastic can rain on Paris in a day. First of all, a study done in the year 2022 revealed that it may rain microplastics over New Zealand and America.
According to the report, small particles of plastic can cause diseases like cancer to our body, apart from reproductive and other health problems. In fact, the plastics used by us end up in the wastewater and reach the sea. After that they become part of the situation and then return to the earth as rain.
Final Words: Length shall not exceed 50 microns
The length of the plastic particles that are being talked about entering our body will not exceed 50 microns, while the length of human hair is up to 80 microns. Means we will not even be able to see these microplastics with our eyes.
