Invest India, a Government of India undertaking, has released this report. According to this, India has more than 520 million gamers, while China has a population of 664 million. It is estimated that by 2025 this population will be at 77 crores. It is estimated that 50% of the new gamers in the country have joined after 2018. Worldwide 1 out of 5 gaming apps are downloaded in India. By the year 2030, the market in India can exceed 1 thousand dollars.
The number of gaming companies is increasing rapidly.
The number of companies making gaming apps in India is more than 700 and there are more than 18000 people in it. Since the year 2017, gaming companies have done a business of more than 300 crores. It is estimated that by 2025 the number of gaming companies will be more than 1000 crores. More than 30 thousand people will work in it. The total turnover is estimated to be more than 620 crores.

According to Invest India, in the year 2022, there were 115 million gamers who were playing paid games. It is estimated that by the year 2025, the number of people paying money to play games will cross 200 million. People are spending maximum money for games related to car gaming, fighting and lottery. In the year 2022, 1 in 5 Indian gamer spent money to play games. It is estimated that in the coming time, the number of people playing games by paying money will be more in the country.
